El linfoma no Hodgkin corresponde a un grupo heterogéneo de enfermedades malignas de linfocitos B o linfocitos T que implica su expansión clonal no controlada a nivel periférico. La génesis de la enfermedad es multifactorial, y hasta el día de hoy continúan las investigaciones acerca del papel que desempeñan las alteraciones genéticas, ya sea inherente al paciente, como los polimorfismos o alteraciones cromosómicas, o incluso las que podríamos denominar adquiridas, como las resultantes de introducción o activación de genes debido a infecciones virales. El propósito de esta revisión es mostrar al lector de forma sucinta el panorama actual del conocimiento que se tiene de las alteraciones a nivel de biología molecular que ocurren en los linfomas no Hodgkin.
The non-Hodgkin lymphoma corresponds to a heterogeneous group of malignancies of B or T lymphocytes they involving and uncontrolled the clonal expansion to peripherally location. There are many factors involved in the genesis of the non-Hodgkin lymphomas actually they considered of multifactorial origin. Nowadays the research is focused on the role of genetic alterations, these modifications to genome could be inherent to the patient, such as the polymorphisms and the chromosomal aberrations; or the alterations acquired due to the viral infections that introduce or activate the oncogenes. The aim of this review is to show to the reader a succinct overview of current knowledge about the alterations at the molecular biology level that occur in the non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
